Polpo - A Drupal 6 administration theme

PreviousNext created an elegant new Drupal admin theme which is now used by hundreds of Drupal developers around the world.

Challenge

While Drupal 6 is a highly flexible content management system, one area it lacks is an intuitive administration interface on par with other products like WordPress and Joomla.

Solution

As a self-funded project, we developed our own admin theme for Drupal 6 called Polpo, which provides a more user-friendly look and feel for the site admin screens in Drupal 6.

Outcome

As is customary for open source developers, we released Polpo to the Drupal community for free and unlimited use, and it's now installed in almost 400 Drupal sites around the world.
