SBS TV - Reusable Online Video Player

Challenge

Following the success of his one-off documentaries, Dave Zwolenski produced a full 10 part series of shows and exclusive “webisodes” for SBS TV. PreviousNext was engaged to develop Information Architecture, User Interface Design and Flash Development for the website.

Solution

PreviousNext designed and developed a Flash-based video player that allowed users to watch full episodes online, while also integrating SBS’s content management and user feedback system.

Outcome

PreviousNext created a system that could be re-purposed for other SBS TV shows. On completion of this project, we repackaged the video player system that SBS could use for other projects. This has already been used on five other TV show websites.
