The PreviousNext team receive a Splash Award for the Catholic Schools NSW website

Our experience at DrupalSouth Melbourne was truly memorable, not only for the enriching sessions, vibrant community interactions and chance to get together as a team but also for the recognition we received at the Splash Awards.

Held on the 12th of March at the ACMI, this year's awards ceremony once again celebrated innovation and excellence in the Australia-New Zealand Drupal community.

Celebrating excellence at the Splash Awards

The Splash Awards acknowledge exceptional projects that have delivered impactful Drupal experiences, which is why we’re pleased to share that our team received the following recognition:

  • Best in Show: This award was for a joint project with Folk, which transformed the Catholic Schools NSW website. PreviousNext's Griffyn Heels and Jo Paterson from Folk also presented a conference session the following day, detailing how thoughtful ‘collaboration between suppliers creates better products’.
  • Winner of the Corporate category: The Catholic Schools NSW project was also celebrated as the winner of the corporate category.
  • Runner-up, Open Source category: The MySQL Toolkit (MTK) received recognition in the Open Source category.

These accolades are a testament to our team's unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier Drupal solutions that drive meaningful impact.

Reflecting on our journey

The Splash Awards aren’t just about trophies (though the trophies are lovely to look at!). The awards also celebrate collaborative efforts, strategic, creative and problem-solving mindsets, and the boundless energy for improvement embodied by the community.

We know that each project we undertake will present us with unique challenges, which we tackle with enthusiasm and curiosity. This leads to success for our clients and a pattern of growth and learning for our team.

The future of Drupal

Achievements like this motivate us to continue exploring, iterating and extending the boundaries of what Drupal can do. We’re excited about future pipeline projects and initiatives such as Drupal CMS and Experience Builder, and look forward to contributing even more to the Drupal community.

A huge thanks must go to our clients and partners for going on this journey with us, as well as to the DrupalSouth organising committee and volunteers for a stellar event, and the entire Drupal community for their continuous support and inspiration. Here's to many more milestones together!
