The Global CCS Institute, which aims to accelerate the deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects around the world, has appointed PreviousNext to optimise the Institute's Drupal-based website.

The Institute's knowledge platform enables people and organisations across the globe to work collaboratively to build and share the expertise necessary to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) can make a significant impact on reducing the world’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Working with the free content management platform Drupal, PreviousNext will ensure the Institute's global web portal is a flexible, standards-compliant system that's easy to use and ready for future growth.
The Institute's website features carbon capture and storage news, resources, data sets, group discussions, collaborative wikis, and other online tools customised for the Institute's worldwide user base.

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is a greenhouse gas emissions reducing option that involves an integrated process of three distinct steps: capture, transportation and long-term storage. Drupal is the scalable, open source technology that powers thousands of government and non-profit websites around the world, including the White House site.
