As Gold sponsors and local organising team members, PreviousNext is excited about this global Drupal event coming to Australia.

Continuing on from our support of previous DrupalDownunder events in Brisbane and Melbourne, a number of PreviousNext's staff have worked with the Drupal Association to bring DrupalCon to Sydney from February 6-9, 2013.

With Drupal use growing exponentially in the region,  adding Sydney to the list of global DrupalCon events in 2013 will create a huge boost to the local Drupal community in Australia and New Zealand. DrupalCon brings together the people who use, develop, design and support the Drupal platform. Drupal project founder, Dries Buytaert, is already confirmed to attend, with an exciting session program currently being coordinated for the 400 attendees expected at the event.

Owen Lansbury, Managing Partner at PreviousNext and DrupalCon local organising team lead, told Techworld.com.au, "The key aspect of Drupal that's very different to any other platform is that by attending a DrupalCon you'll actually be in sessions with the people who are actually critical to the decision making around where Drupal is heading. DrupalCon Sydney definitely puts this region on the map in terms of Drupal adoption."

With several PreviousNext employees on the local organising team, the Drupal design and development firm has provided extensive resources and additional financial support for the launch of the event website at Sydney2013.drupal.org. The website is the first to be released on the new COD 7 (Conference Organising Distribution on Drupal 7) platform adopted by the Drupal Association for all new DrupalCon websites, with features including a mobile-compatible responsive layout and compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), online session management and e-commerce.

PreviousNext is heavily invested in the Drupal community as a Drupal Association Supporting Partner, and is thrilled to be part of the team that is building, growing and nurturing the awareness of Drupal in the local region.
