PreviousNext Prepares for DrupalSouth Melbourne 2015
There’s a buzz in the air as Drupal enthusiasts prepare to descend upon Melbourne for DrupalSouth 2015, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 5 - 7 March.
As some of the biggest names in Drupal join the line-up, DrupalSouth 2015 will offer a flexible program of sessions, opening the door to interesting, informative and inspiring talks on delivering Drupal projects both today and into the future. With more than 45 sessions to get through, the format will see two days of scheduled talks on March 5 and 6, and a sprint day to be held on Saturday March 7. This year’s event will also include speakers from outside the Drupal Community and sessions on topics relevant to, but not specifically about, Drupal.
DrupalSouth is a non-profit conference run by volunteers from the Drupal Community and a number of PreviousNext team members have been key players on the organisation committee this year, including Donna Benjamin (aka kattekrab), Peter Lieverdink (cafuego) and Christopher Skene (xtfer).
PreviousNext are proud Platinum sponsors of DrupalSouth 2015 and will be putting on a massive show of support, flying team members in from various parts of the globe; John Albin and Jibran Ijaz from overseas, and the rest of our team members from Sydney, Canberra and Queensland. We'll also be substantially represented in the line-up, with selected sessions to include:
- Kim Pepper “The Open Source Paradigm Shift”
- Lee Rowlands “Contributing To Core Without Losing Your Mind”
- John Albin “Style-Guide-Driven Development”
- Nick Schuch “The DupalCI Initiative”
- Magda Kostrzewa “How To Create A Custom Theme In Drupal 8”
- Pamela Barone “Selling Agile”
- Jibran Ijaz “Create Your Own Bespoke Views Style Plugins For Drupal 8”
- Rikki Bochow “Who Said Developers Can’t Design!”
If you’re interested in attending, tickets are still available through the official DrupalSouth website and to meet up with the PreviousNext team at the event, connect on Twitter @PreviousNext.
We'll also be running a dedicated day of aGov Drupal training before the event, so stay tuned for details!
